I received a robocall claiming that I was implicated in some sort of tax fraud and urged me to press 1 for more information. I decided it was best to hang up instead.

A couple days back, I got a call from this number. An automated voice claimed to be from HMRC, saying there was some fraud case against me. They told me to press 1 straight away or else they’d send a warrant and I'd be arrested. Seemed fishy to me, so I just hung up. As far as I know, HMRC usually contacts you by letter first if there’s any problem. Definitely sounded like a scam.
