Just received yet another one of those pesky automated calls threatening me with imminent arrest for tax evasion unless I hit one. Can’t the authorities do something to put an end to these scoundrels? It’s truly infuriating!

I got a rather alarming voicemail the other day. It was an automated message claiming to be from HMRC, and it stated that I was under investigation for tax evasion. The urgency was overwhelming-apparently, if I didn’t press 1 to speak with an officer, I would soon find myself in quite a bit of trouble. Then, just like that, the call cut off. Quite the scare, I must say!

Received a rather suspicious automated call claiming to be from the fraud department of HMRC. The recorded voice instructed me to press 1, which connected me to a call centre. They then asked for my security information. Definitely has all the hallmarks of a scam!
