Got a call from someone claiming to be from HMRC, said there was tax fraud and if I didn’t hit 1 to talk to an agent, they’d arrest me straight away! Total scam, just ended the call right away.

I just had a call from 03008134004, sounded like it was from HMRC but it was a recorded message telling me to “press 1 to talk to someone”. The way it was said, all urgent and pushy, gave it away straight away as a scam. Definitely don’t press 1, just hang up immediately.

Got a robo call supposedly from HMRC saying they’d arrest me unless I pressed 1. Honestly, let them come - could use some time locked up at Her Majesty’s expense. Cheers!
