Got a call saying there was some tax fraud thing going on, they gave me a case number and a badge ID too. They wanted me to cough up £2600 right away and warned me I’d miss my chance to pay if I hung up. Totally sounded dodgy to me.

Got a call from someone saying they were HMRC, telling me there was a big tax fraud problem and if I didn't hit 1 I'd be arrested. Didn’t fall for it and reported the number straight to HMRC. Blocked them as well.

Got a call with a recorded voice claiming to be from the tax office, saying there was some kind of investigation into tax fraud against me. They told me to press one to reach the officer handling the case. I just hung up straight away. From what I know, HMRC usually only contact you by post, not on your mobile phone.
