Just had a phone call telling me HMRC was looking into me for tax fraud and that I needed to ring them back to sort payment over the phone or I'd get arrested! These scammers need to be caught and put behind bars!

Got a voicemail from someone pretending to be HMRC, saying there’s fraud on my account. They told me to hit 1 to talk to them or else they’d send a warrant. Total scam, don’t fall for it.

Just a heads up, there's a dodgy automated call going around pretending to be HMRC saying they're going to take legal action against you. They try to get you to press one so you can "talk to a caseworker" and sort out a payment. Don't fall for it, it's a total scam and the best thing to do is hang up right away.
