Got a call claiming to be from HMRC saying I’d not paid enough tax and they were going to get a warrant out for my arrest. They said to press 1 to chat to someone about sorting it and paying what I owed right then. Total scam, don’t fall for it!

Someone phoned me claiming to be from HMRC about some supposedly dodgy tax business in my name. They kept saying if I ended the call, I’d get arrested... well I’m not about to press any buttons to be connected to some robot voice to chat about this 'issue'! So yeah, calm down mate, I’m not falling for that!

Got a call from some automated voice claiming to be HMRC, asking for info. I hung up, and then they kept ringing from a blocked number. Just blocked it and didn’t bother answering again.

Got a call from someone saying it was HMRC, but it was one of those automated messages telling me to press 1. I didn’t engage at all, just hung up straight away and blocked the number. Best not to answer or press anything!
