They said they were from HMRC, but this just felt like a scam. Honestly, if HMRC needed to reach me, they’d send proper paperwork through the post, maybe even involve the courts. Don’t fall for it and don’t respond.

Got a recorded call saying it was hmrc telling me i was involved in some tax fraud and that they were gonna arrest me. i didnt hit "1" like they wanted, just ended the call. so far, no one’s come knocking to arrest me!
