Earlier today I got a call from 07373558143 saying it was HMRC and that I had a tax fraud issue. They told me I'd be arrested soon if I didn't hit 1. Seems like a scam to me!

I received a rather alarming automated call from 443002005711, claiming that if I didn’t press 1, I’d be facing a warrant for my arrest. Quite unnerving, to say the least! Generally, when one of those call centre operatives, most likely from Asia, do answer, they promptly cut off the line. They’re masquerading as HMRC, which is quite dodgy. Please, whatever you do, don’t divulge any personal details! I would advise turning the tables and questioning them instead!
