Like loads of others, I got threatened with a warrant for arrest. Told ’em to pop over, said I got a gun and nothing to lose! If you want a laugh, look up scammersrevolt on YouTube. They get their computers hacked and their files wiped (probably including our numbers). It’s hilarious how mad they get 😁👍

I got a call from these lot yesterday (29/6/19) and they were spouting the same nonsense as others here, threatening me saying if I didn’t press 1, the coppers would be knocking down my door soon to arrest me for fraud. Honestly, these scammers are absolute rubbish - cowards hiding behind screens and phones just to scam innocent people. There’s no way they’d ever have the guts to confront anyone in person. Proper slimeballs all of 'em.

I received a rather alarming phone call today. They informed me that I owed a hefty sum of £432 immediately due to alleged tax evasion. During our conversation, they requested my National Insurance number, and in a moment of sheer panic, I regrettably provided it. They went on to threaten me, saying if I didn’t settle the amount, I could face serious repercussions and possibly end up in court. They even probed about my online banking details for the transfer, but thankfully, I held my ground and didn’t send any money. After regaining my composure, I contacted the police to report the incident. The officers took down all the details and reassured me that since I hadn’t disclosed my banking information, I was in the clear. They advised me to remain vigilant and not share any personal data with strangers. It's evident that this call had nothing to do with HMRC whatsoever.

Just yesterday, I got a call claiming I owed £400 in tax that had to be settled right away or I’d get fined. I told the bloke that if there was any tax due, HMRC would have sent me a letter and informed my accountant like they always do. I also mentioned I wasn’t too happy with how he was talking and that he should stick to the official way through letters and my accountant. That seemed to spook him, and he quickly ended the call! The caller sounded Asian and had a thick accent.
