7 yearsGot repeated calls from numbers that look alike. Best to just ignore and block them straight away.7 yearsI suspect that this number is linked to some sort of tax office scam.7 yearsJust like every other call, they said press 1 or you'd be in trouble with the law. Weirdly enough, I went ahead and pressed it. They asked me for my name, so I replied, "You phoned me, you should already know." Then they threatened to call the cops and take me to court for being some kinda fraud. I chuckled and told them I was curious how they’d know my name when I hadn’t even told them yet. That’s when they lost it and started swearing at me like mad: “suck my d### you motherf#####” and all that rubbish.7 yearsToday I got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC, saying my National Insurance was at risk of fraud and I needed to pay £427. I told them I couldn’t afford that right now, and they said even £200 was okay. When I asked for her name, the woman just hung up on me. I tried ringing back but no luck. The caller gave the name Shannon Oliver, but when I looked her up on Facebook, loads of people came up with that name. There’s so many scammers out there pretending to be legit, it’s really worrying. Honestly, they should just stop this nonsense and find better things to do.HMRCShannon OliverFacebook7 yearsGot a call from 03002005485, this lady with a strong Indian accent said she was from HMRC and called herself Susan Wright. She told me I supposedly owe £427 from 2016 to 2018 and demanded payment immediately over the phone or I'd face legal action. Weirdly, she even knew my old postcode, though I moved out nearly five years ago. When I asked for anything in writing, she just refused. Tried ringing back on 0300 200 5485 but the call wouldn’t connect, just dropped straight away. Seemed dodgy to me!HMRCSusan Wright7 yearswhile i was working, this number popped up on my phone. cant believe the cheek of someone calling and acting like they're from hmre. They keep telling you to press 1, but i’m certain it’d end up charging me more.HMRC7 yearsDont answer this number, its a scam. i looked it up and it links back to a facebook profile under the name Ammar Pakwan. Avoid it!FacebookAmmar Pakwan7 yearsThis number keeps calling me over and over. It’s definitely a scam! The recorded message claims it’s from HMRC.
