Received a dodgy call purporting to be from HMRC; it was just an automated message. I ended the call straight away as I was well aware it was a scam.

I received a recorded call from HMRC warning me to press 1 or I risked being arrested for tax fraud. Quite alarming!

Got a phone call from an 0300 number with a recorded message warning about tax fraud. They said to press 1, but obviously I didn’t do that. Later, I got the same kind of call from another 0300 number.

Got a call from 03002004957 saying if I didn't hit 1, they'd issue an arrest warrant for tax fraud. Said I was being recorded too. Proper scary message, sounded like a total scam.
