I got a call from someone saying they were from HMRC and threatening legal action. They told me to press 1 straight away and warned that if I hung up, I’d be arrested right away. I checked with HMRC and they told me this is just a scam. They said HMRC would never call you like that, so it’s best to just hang up straight away.

Got a call from 0300 2004780, they said it was hmrc about some tax fraud thing. Seemed dodgy to me.
