Got a call from someone saying they were HMRC claiming there was some fraud going on with my name. They said if I didn’t hit 1 I’d get arrested or something. They called back the very next day with the same thing. I just hung up both times and didn’t press anything.

Got a dodgy pre-recorded message pretending to be from HMRC about taxes. Honestly, pretty rubbish attempt. They really need to step up their game, total muppets.

Got a call saying it was from HMRC, threatening me with a warrant if I didn’t press 1. Smelled fishy, so I just blocked the number. Pretty nasty tactic if you ask me.

Today got a call from 0300 200 9552 and then yesterday another one from 0300 200 4481. Both times, no message was left on voicemail. Bit strange, don’t you think?
