Just got a phone call pretending to be from HMRC saying I’m involved in some tax fraud and if I don’t hit ‘1’ they’ll arrest me. Seems like a right scam to me.

I picked up but said nothing, then they hung up straight away. I've blocked the number now.

My 12 year old girl just got a call from this number and after she didn’t answer they left a voicemail saying she’d be arrested unless she gave them info. Really worrying to get something like that at such a young age!
