My mum’s been getting phone calls from these folks claiming there’s a warrant for her arrest! As soon as she mentioned she’s self-employed, they quickly backtracked saying it didn’t concern her. Definitely a total scam but it still really rattled her!

Got a couple of calls on my mobile today. Fortunately, I only pick up calls from mates and family whose numbers I’ve saved, so I just answered without saying a word - pays ’em back a bit, doesn’t it? The callers were from 03002003797 and 03002004951. Seeing the feedback on this site has been a real help. I just wish they actually talked to me, cos I’m far from anyone who’d commit tax fraud; I’ve been disabled for 20 years and never earned enough to pay tax. Honestly, the best way to deal with these scammers is to call them out on their nonsense.

I got a call today from 300 200 3294, someone who said his name was Adrian Harris. When I asked for more info, like his officer ID which he said was '985660LR' and the case number '892231761', he told me I hadn't paid my taxes. He said it was tax evasion and that I owed a big sum. He threatened that if I didn’t pay up, I’d end up with a court case and could spend 25 years in prison. Total rubbish if you ask me.

I got a voicemail claiming HMRC was gonna have me arrested or something. I just hung up straight away and blocked the number. Normally I don't pick up unfamiliar numbers, and thankfully I didn’t this time - felt like a total scam right from the start. Glad I trusted my gut!

Today, 14th June, I got two calls and ended up talking to three different folks, all with Asian accents. They kept insisting I was dodging taxes worth £1255.52. A lady called Victoria Baker told me I should "settle out of court" quickly if I didn't want to end up in jail. Then, some guy named Officer Adrian Harris, who gave a badge number like 9879OST or something, told me I needed to pay right away and even take a screenshot of my account as proof - apparently, that's the only way to stop myself from being arrested!

Some bloke called Adrian Harris told me I was on a recording and that my arrest warrant had been cancelled. When I asked him about the details of the case, he just said something like, “You should know, I’m the one who filed the paperwork.” Then, when I mentioned needing to chat to someone else about it, he said I wasn’t permitted to speak to anyone else, or it’d look like I was dodging payment. That’s when I figured straight away it was a total scam.

I got a call from HMRC accusing me of fraud, so I just ended the call straight away.

I received calls from these numbers: 0300 200 3941 and 0300 200 3937. The caller introduced himself as Michael Smith but refused to share his ID details at first. After I challenged him quite firmly, he reluctantly gave an ID number - something like 98560LR. He then claimed I had a criminal case with number 892241761, and supposedly a warrant had been issued against me. When I pressed to find out which court allegedly issued it, he couldn’t provide an answer. Eventually, as I kept questioning him, he got annoyed and just ended the call.

Watch out for 03002003797 - really dodgy call. The person on the line said his name was Michael Smith, gave some badge number 98560LR and mentioned Estate 248 Flash 1965. He was insisting I pay £2744 straight away for supposed unpaid tax. I knew right away it was a scam and told him I couldn’t pay. Then he asked if I could borrow from a mate. He also tried to scare me, saying I'd lose my house and end up arrested. When I mentioned getting my accountant involved, he warned me not to or my accountant might lose their licence. I wasn’t having any of it and ended the call.

Earlier today, I got a rather alarming phone call claiming to be from HMRC regarding some outstanding taxes. They instructed me to press 1 to be connected, and they threatened that if I didn't respond, I'd face arrest by the police. I quickly realised it was yet another scam call. Received a dodgy phone call today, quite the nuisance it was! An automated voice blared away, claiming I was implicated in a tax fraud case. I swiftly ended the call, knowing full well that any such serious matters would never be conveyed in such a ridiculous fashion. Honestly, is there no legislation in place to rid us of these jokers? They really ought to be held accountable and face some consequences for their antics!
