03002003605 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 03002003605 👆 is reported as a highly deceptive scam involving automated calls falsely claiming to be from HMRC, threatening arrest for alleged tax fraud unless the recipient presses a number to speak to an agent. The calls use robotic or unnatural voices and often attempt to coerce personal information. Genuine HMRC communication is always by letter, never urgent phone calls demanding immediate action. Recipients are strongly advised not to engage, press any buttons, or provide details. If contacted, hang up immediately and verify directly with official HMRC channels. This scam frequently employs local-looking numbers and can include aggressive or confusing tactics, but no one is arrested without prior official correspondence. Vigilance and caution are paramount to avoid falling victim.

Got a dodgy automated caller pretending to be HMRC, shouting that if I didn’t press 1, they’d send a warrant for my arrest. What a joke!

Got a recorded message saying I’m mixed up in tax fraud and if I don’t press 1 to talk to someone, they’ll send a warrant and arrest me soon. What a load of rubbish! Classic scam. Best to just ignore it or if you pick up, hang up straight away and don’t press any buttons.

0300 209 4248 called me out the blue, woke me up and scared me a bit. I hung up straight away and rang HMRC myself to check coz I never got any letter. Also, not to be rude but Ive never dealt with an Asian person from HMRC before, which seemed odd. The number looked kinda like theirs but the automated voice was a dead giveaway. Best to just hang up on these calls!

0300 209 4953 keeps calling with a robotic voice talking about tax fraud and telling me to 'press 1'. Total scam for sure but it's good to share it here so others can be warned.

Haha, I saw that comment from 04/09/2019 sayin don't pick up, if its urgent they’ll leave a voicemail - that’s kinda my rule for calls I don’t know too!

Sad to say, I got nicked for dodging taxes before I even had a chance to pick up their call. If only they'd rung me sooner, I'd have grabbed a plane to Rio and legged it. Now, I'm just stuck here behind bars. Actually, hold on, I’m not in a cell - I’m just at home in front of the telly like anyone else would be if they told those lot to do one and ended the call.

BEWARE OF THIS SCAM! Got a scary call saying I’m under investigation for tax fraud and to press 1 to talk to someone. Thankfully, my mate told me to just hang up right away. DO NOT PICK UP, BLOCK THIS NUMBER!

03002008083 called me with a robotic voice saying I had to press 1 or I'd get arrested. I pressed 1 and got through to some asian lady who wanted me to verify my address. I asked her to prove she was from HMRC first and she just ended the call. Really dodgy, watch out!

‭0300 200 8741‬ rang me saying I had to press 1 or I’d be arrested soon for tax fraud. I pressed one anyway and told the woman with an Asian accent it was a scam, and she freaked out and hung up. Total scam, don’t fall for it.

Got a robotic message saying it was HMRC telling me there was “tax fraud linked to my name”, even though they never asked or confirmed who I was. I just ended the call there. HMRC normally sends letters, they don’t ring you up. Don’t pick up. It’s a massive scam.

Nah not convinced this was HMRC. He sounded like he was callin me from a bathroom or summat. Asked for my name so I wanted his but he just couldn’t answer, kept sayin he couldn’t hear me and to speak louder. Plus why call my work number and not my personal one? Number was 0300 200 0197.

Don’t think that was really HMRC. He sounded like he was somewhere noisy, maybe a bathroom or summat. Wanted my name so I asked his back but he couldn’t give it and kept sayin “I can’t hear you, speak louder please?” Also bit odd how he called my work number instead of my personal one. Number was 0300 200 0197 if anyone wants to check.

Got a call from 0300 200 7171 on my phone, an automated message claiming to be from HMRC saying I was linked to tax fraud and to press 1. I just hung up. Then I called the number back, a recorded female voice with a Welsh accent answered, switching between Welsh and English, saying it was the constituency office for Johnathan Edwards and Adam Price. I looked them up and they’re real people, so obviously this wasn’t them. Seems like someone’s spoofed their number. I’ve reported it to HMRC as a phishing attempt.

When I answered, an automated message warned me about a warrant supposedly issued for my arrest. I didn’t press "1" to sort it out straight away. The voice was a robotic version of a South Asian accent. This is a total scam. Similar stuff has been going around in the US with fake arrest warrant calls. It’s all rubbish, don’t be fooled.
