I got calls from this number and also 03002003547 just a couple hours apart. Both times, I ignored the ring (I never pick up 0300 numbers anyway), but when I checked the voicemail, it was the same automated message warning about some tax fraud issue and asking me to press '1' to speak to an agent. I didn’t press anything, and honestly, you really shouldn’t either!

Got a voicemail saying HMRC have a case against me and I need to press 1 to speak to some officer. They said if I don’t press 1, they’d issue a warrant for my arrest. Honestly, I’ve never come across anything so ridiculous before!

I picked up the phone and they just cut the call straight away. Was hoping to have a go at them with some new curse words I’ve been practicing. Bit of a letdown, really.

Got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC telling me I’ve got a warrant out for me over tax dodging. They said to press 1 if I want to chat to an advisor. Don’t fall for it, just hang up!

Got a call minutes ago saying I supposedly had a warrant out for me. Like I’m that gullible! Ended the call straight away... no way HMRC would ring up and speak like that.

Got another one of those scam calls. Same kind of creepy recorded warning, then it switched to someone claiming to be an ‘officer’. He wanted my name and address, I told him he should already have it since he rang me. The guy spoke with a thick Indian accent trying to sound all official, but there was so much noise in the background I could barely make out what he was saying. When I asked for his name it kinda threw him off for a bit. He said PC Wilson or something like that. I just replied with a casual “Alright then”, and ended the call, blocked the number straight away.
