Got a call from some dodgy number with a really strong American accent, telling me to press 1. When I did, all that played was some random music. Definitely a scam, no doubt.

Got a call supposedly from HMRC saying there was a warrant out for me. I nearly laughed! They asked for my full name and then wanted bank details. Definitely a scam.

got a call from someone claiming to be hmrc, left a message about some repayments on my account, but i’m not buying it. sounded like a robot. blocked the number straight away. if it was really hmrc, they’d phone properly, not leave an automated message. best not to pick up or reply!

They called saying there was some sort of tax scam linked to me. Then they told me to hit 1 on the phone. Definitely a fraud, don’t fall for it.
