Got a robo call from someone pretending to be HMRC, sounded sketchy. Don’t bother hitting 1, it’s definitely a scam.

Got a call from 0300 200 3044 claiming to be HMRC about some fraud thing! They said if I don't press 1 I'll get arrested right away. Honestly, these calls are really scary, especially if you don't know much about how HMRC operates. I reckon pressing 1 might cause you to lose money somehow, so watch out!

Got a call saying I’m wanted for fraud and an arrest warrant will be out unless I press 1. Didn’t press anything, so now just waiting to see if this “warrant” actually turns up. Pretty sure it’s just a scam anyway.

Didn’t pick up, but got a voicemail saying there’s some fraud issue with hmrc linked to me. The voice sounded really fake, like it was computer generated or something, so I just stopped paying attention and deleted it. Totally looks like a scam to me. Have blocked the number now.
