Got the exact call from this number too. Just ended the call straight away - total scam if you ask me! If some automated voice tries to freak you out to get you to do something, just ignore it. Legit companies wouldn’t use bots or AI to ring you like that. And honestly, if they don’t have an actual person on the phone to chat with, I'm not bothering with them. So annoying. Rant done. Definitely don’t hit 1!!! - number was 0300 200 3449

I got a message telling me that HMRC had issued a warrant to arrest me.

Got a robocall saying it was HMRC, claiming there was a fraud case against me. They warned that if I didn't hit 1, they'd send a warrant. Seemed fishy to me.

Just got a text about an arrest warrant being issued today, definitely a dodgy phone call.

Got a robocall pretty much saying the same thing: "This is HMRC, you're under investigation for tax fraud, press 1 now or face arrest soon." Total rubbish, just trying to scare people. I ignored pressing 1, so dunno what the next step is... Guess I’ll wait to see if the cops actually show up 🤨 - from number 03002003449.

Just a heads up, HMRC have said this is a scam so whatever you do, dont share any of your info. If you already have, get in touch with your bank straight away and then ring up the HMRC security folks. The caller is pretending to be HMRC but it’s phishing.
