I received a call from this number, 0300 200 3158, claiming to be the HMRC. A robotic voice informed me that I was flagged for tax fraud and threatened me with immediate arrest if I didn’t press one. Really? What a load of nonsense!

What a blatant scam this is! I received the exact same message as others have mentioned. It's absolutely ludicrous to think that HMRC would actually ring someone up regarding such matters.

I had a call from the number 0300 200 3158, and the person on the other end claimed to be from HR Revenue. He insisted that a criminal case had been initiated against me and demanded an immediate payment of £2,200 in cash to halt the proceedings. It sounded highly suspicious, to say the least. I strongly advise anyone to steer clear of this number and think twice before engaging with such calls.
