Some bloke from Pakistan rang me claiming I owed taxes. I just cracked up at him. He got proper riled and started telling me to watch my manners and show respect to people who know better. I just laughed even harder. He ended the call threatening the police would come and arrest me. Still waiting on that police visit though.

Got a bot call supposedly from HMRE about fraud, telling me to hit 1 or else I'd be arrested straight away. How come nothing's done to stop these scammers? It’s really annoying!

They were saying that if I didn’t hit 1, a warrant would be put out for me because of some claim or something. Got me really freaked at first, but it was pretty clear it was just a scam.

So this number supposedly from the HMRC tax fraud department called me. They said if I dont ring back right away, I’ll have a warrant out for me! Obviously no real person, just a robotic message. They didn’t even say my name or check anything like my postcode or birthday. Total scam alert! This line should be shut down ASAP. Proper scammers.

I keep getting calls from people pretending to be from HMRE, telling me a crime is on my record and that there's an arrest warrant out for me. It’s so annoying and feels like a total scam trying to scare me.

I missed the call and they left a voicemail, but it sounded like their recording was way too long because only the tail end got through. The message was clearly designed to scare you. It went something like, “There’s a tax fraud case against you. Press 1 to speak to an H.M.R.C. officer. If you don’t call back right away, a warrant will be issued and you’ll be arrested soon.” The grammar was really off too, definitely not from someone who speaks English properly. Total scam, really dodgy.

Definitely a scam, no doubt about it. They said they were from the hmrc tax office but that’s just not true. Blocked the number straight away.

Got three calls back to back from the same number, and I just ignored them all. Definitely looks like a scam to me since the calls kept popping up just a couple of seconds apart.

Got a robo call about some tax fraud thing that’s supposedly against me, but they never actually said my name or asked any security questions, so I’m pretty sure it’s bogus. Don’t bother calling back, just hang up and report the number instead.

Got a call from some dodgy number claiming to be HMRC, told me to press 1 or else they’d send the cops right away. Caller ID just said Unknown. Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it!
