they keep saying I'm gonna get arrested for not pressing 1. how come these scam calls just carry on without anyone stopping them? if I called up and said something about terrorism, they'd probably be on me in a heartbeat. it's so unfair how this stuff gets overlooked.

Got a call from someone pretending to be from HMRC, saying I was involved in a tax fraud issue. Definitely seemed dodgy.

Got a call from 03002002048, then after a short silence a man’s recorded voice started going on about HMRC and some fraud issue. It told me to press one to talk to an officer or else they’d send a warrant for my arrest. Total rubbish. I’ve blocked this number and also another one that rang a few days ago with the same scam about fraud from 03002005465. Just a load of scams, don’t fall for it!
