I got a call from 0300 200 1231 and it turned out to be a total scam. An automated voice claimed to be HMRC, accusing me of fraud and telling me to press one to sort it out. Definitely hung up quickly - don’t fall for it!

SCAM ALERT: Got a call with a recorded voice claiming I owed money to HMRC and told me to press 1. I think if you do press it, it’s a way for them to get you to pay through expensive phone charges. They called me twice today. I just hung up straight away the first time and when they called again, I blocked the number. Be careful and don’t get caught out by this trick!
