Received a call earlier today, and shortly after I picked up, I was met with a message saying “farewell” before the line went dead. Considering how the call came through and that my phone flagged it as potentially dodgy, I suspect it was just another scam attempt from someone posing as HMRC or something similar. I’ve since blocked the number on my mobile!
