Today I got a call from this number, and honestly I think the phone company that handed this number out really ought to step in and stop these scammers from ripping off innocent folks. It’s just awful how these scams cause so much trouble and sadness. They really need to update the laws to put an end to this rubbish once and for all.

Got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC, telling me I had to act fast or I’d get arrested. Felt really dodgy, so I checked out some YouTube vids where people were warning about these scam calls. Definitely wasn’t legit.

A couple of days back, I got a call with some official-sounding recorded message claiming it was from HMRC, saying I was involved in tax fraud and there was an arrest warrant out for me. After that, I’ve had three more calls from the same number. I picked up twice just to tell them off, but both times the person on the other end quickly ended the call. Just today, I ignored the call and went ahead to block the number so hopefully they stop bothering me now.
