I've come across a firm named Sitel that seems to be masquerading as if they are directly linked to the Track and Trace service. In reality, they’re just an outsourced operation, although they’re rather reticent about admitting it. Perhaps this is because they likely shouldn’t be privy to anyone’s personal details. If you happen to receive a call from them, I’d suggest you mention that you’ll need to get in touch with the NHS to confirm their identity and whether they genuinely represent Track and Trace. Used the form and clearly said TEXT ONLY. Still, me and my hubby got a call from them! Told them straight to buzz off and quit bothering me, said they’re invading my peace! He called me four different times today and sounded like he was reading from some mad script. If they show up just let them know they’re trespassing and if they want to come back they’ll need a court order or to schedule a proper appointment. Totally with you on this one, I always say that because of data protection rules, I don’t share any personal info with cold callers.

Just a reminder, you don’t have to share any personal details with cold callers, and you definitely don’t have to let them into your home. I usually say I’ve got a password system for visitors, just to be safe. Some might say it’s a bit silly or that I work for some government agency, but honestly, I reckon it’s better safe than sorry, especially since they’re not allowed in without one.

Seems like the Gestapo have made their way to the UK, ringing me up about three times today. Guess it's 'cause I said no to their stupid house arrest. They even showed up at my door but I didn't let them in, no way.

I got a call 16 hours after I got back, then the next day someone showed up at my door from the NHS to make sure I was home. A couple of hours after that, I got another call from the same number asking the exact same thing. I told the caller I had to go for my second day test, but they kept pushing me to answer. I told them I was busy and just hung up.

Got a couple of kids asking me if I bought used condoms off eBay. Bit obvious my number got leaked from the NHS Track and Trace since the calls before sounded proper legit.

Test and Trace has been phoning me daily during my 10 day quarantine after coming back from an amber list country. They just waste your time, reading out the same covid rules every single call and asking the exact same questions over and over, as if they dont keep any record. Feels like government harrassment to me.

I reckon it was the NHS track and trace calling since I’m stuck at home in quarantine. The bloke just asked for my birthdate, checked my name, and wanted to know if I’d come over to the UK from abroad in the past 10 days. He also asked about the tests on day 2 and 8, if I’m doing them, and went over the quarantine guidelines.

I received a rather alarming phone call this morning, 24th July, from this number. A woman claimed to be representing the NHS and started asking for my personal information. To be honest, her manner was quite abrasive and struck me as rather rude, and she certainly didn’t sound like she was from around here. When I inquired about her name and mentioned that I was recording the call - with the intention of filing a complaint - she abruptly ended the conversation. After listening back a few times, I’m almost certain she had a Polish accent. Just to clarify, I don't have anything against anyone from different backgrounds; it’s just that her attitude was quite off-putting. I still have the recording if anyone's curious.

NHS Track and Trace keep ringing me even tho I told them I’m self isolating and working from home. I’ve asked them to call at specific times cos I’m often in meetings or busy on calls, but they just don’t seem to care. I thought they’d ring my landline but they keep calling my mobile, which is pointless coz I could be anywhere really. Trying my best to stick to the rules and even doing the lateral flow tests regularly, plus the day two and eight ones. Proper annoying.

The Scottish Government's site shows this number belongs to the "Scottish Young Carers Services Alliance," which feels a bit odd. Looks like that info on their page might not have been refreshed since 2018.

A day after getting back from an Amber list country, I got a phone call. I wasn't sure if it was legit, so I asked the person to wait while I looked it up online. Quite a few folks said it was authentic, and the caller even knew my return date, so I carried on. He mentioned he had my date of birth and just needed me to say it out loud to verify my identity, which I did. That was the only personal detail he requested, and then he asked if I was self-isolating and whether I planned to do the test to release on day 5.

This is just for folks who follow the rules, honestly. I was away on a work trip for a couple days in amber-listed countries and have been in quarantine for 20 out of the past 30 days. I've stuck to all the guidelines, but it feels like no one trusts that.

Genuine call from the Covid quarantine Police. I've had well over 50 of these calls this year after visiting France. They ring every day up till day 10 unless you do a test to release, then they stop calling after day 5 but will ring again on day 8 to confirm you did the test. Kinda boring but they only call once a day if you pick up, if you don't they try again. Miss three calls in a row and sometimes they send someone to your place. Luckily, that's not happened to me yet!

It honestly makes me feel like someone’s watching me, especially during quarantine times. If you don’t say who you are or why you’re ringing, I’m just gonna block you. And that’s exactly what I did.

NHS track and trace is a joke, honestly feel like I’m living in some mad regime. I got back three days ago and already had more than ten calls, it's proper harassment and feels like my privacy's been completely invaded. Done with answering any of their daft calls. I had a negative test to come into the UK and just did another one on day two, so they can stuff it. This kind of bossiness? No way, I’m not putting up with it!
