Seems a bit dodgy to me... I received a call purportedly from Halifax Bank, insisting that someone had attempted to pilfer funds from my account.

Someone phoned me saying they were from Halifax, said there was an attempt to get into my account today around 12.30pm here in Scotland. I told them it wasn’t me and the call just dropped. They tried ringing back but it got cut off once more. Haven’t had any more calls since then, as I’m writing this.
