0300 123 1751 - If you look it up, this is actually Birmingham County Court’s number, but the people calling definitely aren’t from there. Every time I pick up, they just hang up straight away. They never leave any kind of voicemail either. When you call the number back, you get through to Birmingham County Court. Sounds like some scammer is faking the number to trick people. This could be really risky for anyone currently involved in court matters with Birmingham County Court.

If you pick up this call, do NOT do what it tells you to do, it’s definitely a scam. When you answer, an automated voice says that if you don’t follow the steps or hang up, you’re breaking the law and could end up in court. Then it claims that someone’s used your National Insurance number and asks you to press a button. Just don’t press anything - hang up immediately or you’ll get scammed.

That number has rung me a couple of times and there’s an automated voice saying it’s about child services and a divorce. The number is 0300 123 1751. Weird and a bit worrying.

Got a call twice from this number but didn’t pick up cause my phone flagged it as possible fraud. Had a look it up here and loads of folks say it’s a scam, so I’m just gonna block it.

They called and asked what I had on, then just quickly ended the call once I replied.

I got a call from this number and picked up. I just stayed quiet for around 3 seconds and then the line went dead. If you don’t know the number, best thing to do is answer and don’t say anything at first, scammers usually hang up straight away. Just be careful and only share personal stuff with people you really trust!

Got a call where they said there was some big trouble with HMRC and mentioned my national insurance number. Sounded pretty dodgy to me, so I didn’t give out any info. Feels like one of those scams trying to scare you.
