I got calls from this number a couple times on separate days. Every time I picked up, they just ended the call straight away.

did some digging and it seems this number belongs to the longhurst group, a housing association with their main office in birmingham. they usually go by 0300 or 0800 numbers. from what i understand, mears works under longhurst as a subcontractor and they deal with heating repairs.

Got a message saying I've got a repair slot booked with Mears or something? It told me to ring them if I wanted to cancel but I haven’t got a clue who they are or what I supposedly booked. Didn’t fancy ringing the number just in case it’s some dodgy high-cost phone line scam.
