I just got a call from 03001009900 with a recorded voice claiming to be from HMRC, saying I've done tax fraud. They told me to press '1' to get in touch with an HMRC agent or else I'd be arrested straight away. There’s also another number, 03002003063, spamming the same message. Definitely sounds like a dodgy scam to me.

Somebody called me pretending to be from HMRC, saying there’s a fraud case against me. Don’t fall for it, I just hung up right away. Watch out, folks!

I got a call from 03001009900 with an automated voice claiming there was some fraud case against me with the HMRC. It said if I didn’t press 1 right away, they’d issue a warrant and I’d be arrested soon! Really funny because I work in the Police myself and I’d have definitely been informed about anything like that before now! People, watch out for these dodgy scams.

So funny! My nephew's visiting from overseas and he’s got a UK pay-as-you-go SIM in his phone. Since he’s Indian, I warned him it’s probably a con. Instead of hanging up, he called them back and, speaking Hindi, told them he was armed police outside their building with a full team to nab them. Hilarious!

I got a call saying it was HMRC about some tax fraud, telling me to press 1 to talk to someone. HMRC have confirmed their number’s been cloned. It’s crazy that neither Ofcom nor BT have stepped in to sort this out! Honestly, the people in charge at both organisations should be held accountable for not looking after us properly!

I got a call like this earlier, felt a bit dodgy and could easily freak someone out. But as soon as I knew what was up, I just hung up straight away.

I stupidly hit 1 when they asked, and the person on the phone spoke in really bad English which made me feel quite uneasy since I’m still getting better after a brain bleed. When I asked for his name, he said Eric Foster, and then I asked him to send something in writing. After that, I just hung up. I’ve gone ahead and reported it to the fraud authorities.

I got a voicemail claiming it was from HMRC accusing me of tax fraud. It said if I didn’t hit ‘1’ to speak to an HMRC agent, they’d issue a warrant for my arrest right away. Of course, I ignored the prompt and after waiting forever in silence, the call just cut off. Definitely a scam, no doubt.

It’s a total scam, don’t ever press 1! If HMRC really wanted to arrest you, the police would be at your door pretty quick, like within an hour after the warrant is out. Don’t get caught out by these dodgy calls.

About an hour ago, I got a call telling me there was some sort of warrant out for me. They said to press 1 if I wanted to talk to them. Honestly, felt like a total scam!

Got one of those dodgy automated calls today saying I owed back taxes and if I didn’t pay right away there’d be serious trouble. Total scam trying to scare people into coughing up cash. Just ignored it and blocked the number. Stay alert, these calls are everywhere now!

never press 1, its a total rip off. wonder if the government plans to step up and do something to put an end to these sneaky scammers who prey on vulnerable folks and steal their hard earned money??? Feels like no one cares at all!

I received a call from this number, and the person on the other end claimed to be from HMRC, insisting that I owed them tax. They threatened that unless I settled the supposed debt today, I could face an arrest warrant. They even asked for my National Insurance number and were adamantly requesting £421 from me. I'm quite curious about who these individuals actually are!

About half a year back, I had a call from someone claiming to be from HMRC. I just hung up and blocked the number right away. Sadly, they keep ringing from numbers that look quite similar. Best to not answer and always double-check who’s calling before you pick up.

I got a call threatening me with court if I didn’t cough up £943. After reading other folks’ stories, it seems like a total scam to me.

My phone buzzed with a call from this number just now. Since I don't have voicemail set up, it kept ringing non stop until I picked up. A robotic voice claimed to be from H.M.R.C. saying they were looking into some fraud involving me. They warned that if I didn’t hit 1 to talk to someone, they’d send out an arrest warrant right away.

I didn’t pick up, but there was a message left in English by an older man’s voice. I had a good chuckle - I get loads of calls like these and they just don’t stop, it’s bonkers.

Just got a call about an hour ago from someone saying they were HMRC. Being daft, I hit 1 because I’m self employed, then I realised it was dodgy and told em it was a scam, they cut me off right away. A mate had a similar thing last week, they said they were from EE. Surely authorities can track these lot down and sort em out for good.

I got a call earlier from an automated voice saying it was HMRC about some fraud and to press 1 if I wanted to sort it out. Thing is, about ten days back I received a proper letter from HMRC saying I had a refund coming - so that call felt dodgy. Seriously, don’t hit 1!
