Like others have said, I got one of those robo calls with a really clear message saying I’m being investigated for tax issues and if I didn’t press 1 to speak to an adviser, I’d get a warrant. I’ve already gone ahead and told the police through http://www.actionfraud.police.uk/ or by ringing 0300 123 2040. If you get this call too, please report it as well - it only takes a minute and could help stop these scammers from tricking anyone else, especially those who might be more easily fooled.

Got a robocall claiming to be from HMRC. They keep switching up the numbers, usually begin with 0300 100 but then the last four digits change like 1610 or 0651. Guessing the telephone preference service doesn’t really block these annoying calls.
