Got a ring at 2.20 this afternoon, looked it up on Google and it said something to do with HMRC. Caller said he was Derek Blake.

Didn’t pick up a call from 0300 100 1240 as I had no idea who they were.

Got a robo call saying there’s some tax fraud linked to me and if I didn’t press 1 to talk to them, I’d be arrested. Obviously, I knew it was rubbish, but I fear a lot of people might fall for it. It’s scary how these scammers keep finding ways to trick folks, wonder when anyone’s gonna stop these awful fraudsters?

They claimed it was regarding tax fraud, but it was definitely a scam. HMRC never rings you up like that. If there are any issues with your tax, they always send a letter in the post.

I chose not to pick up, but after looking it up here, I guessed right - it’s a tax scam call. Blocked the number straight away!

I got a call from this number claiming to be from the tax office, saying I had some sort of tax debt and had to press 1 urgently. I just ended the call straight away.

SCAM ALERT..!!
They said they were from the H.M.R.C Fraud Dept and told me I had an arrest warrant issued against me, demanding money. No matter how much I asked, they wouldn't provide any proof or documents unless I paid up.
This time they tried to get £459 off me..!!

This number keeps calling me out of the blue, really annoying having so many unwanted calls from it. Caller: Unsolicited.

This number rang me up the other day pretending to be from HMRC and said I owed them a big amount right now. The guy said if I didn’t sort it out on the spot, they’d come after me and arrest me immediately.
