I received a call claiming that I had an outstanding debt of £26,000 for corporation tax. The chap insisted that I should settle it straight away via credit card over the phone. However, I’ve got all my tax returns sorted and there's absolutely nothing outstanding. He then suggested I ring a number he would provide, but I turned him down flat.
