Funny thing is, I just got a legit call from HMRC but it came from the exact same number that a scammer was using earlier! Someone's seriously smart cloning their phone number. Watch out for it, especially if the caller sounds foreign or starts probing for loads of personal details. Don’t be shy to ask for your National Insurance number or some sort of ID to check they're legit.
