I’ve been dialing HMRC over 150 times since nine this morning trying to sort out my case, and I still haven’t got through. The phone just keeps ringing for around five rings before it goes straight to engaged tone. It’s really annoying, especially when you’ve been trying nonstop the whole day. I got the number off a mate who works at the tax credit call centre.
