Got a call from someone pretending to be with HMRC, claiming the police were about to arrest me over unpaid taxes if I didn’t pay straight away. I didn’t even bother listening and just ended the call. Total scam!

My mum, who’s quite old, got a call from this number saying she owed money and she got scared and gave them her bank info when she rang back. Now she’s really worried she’s been conned. She’s since been to the bank to sort it out and stop any dodgy transactions but she’s shaken up about it. Seems like one of those HMRC scam calls!

Got a call from a guy talking in an Indian accent claiming to be from HM Revenue. He kept saying I owed money and that they had a warrant to arrest me. Total scammers - they should really be put behind bars!
