Just had a really strange call from Age UK, and honestly it left me feeling pretty exposed. I was trying to get some help for an older mate who’s ended up without a home. They asked for all my info, but then went quiet for ages on the phone. I’ve got autism, so that kind of awkward silence made the whole thing really difficult for me. Not a great experience at all.
