I received a call from a woman claiming to represent BT, stating she would send me a letter regarding a security update for my computer. The problem is, I don't even use BT! On top of that, her attitude was quite off-putting, so I cheekily asked if she’d ever been in a rather compromising position. She promptly hung up; how odd! It’s quite bizarre how this number has been bombarding me with calls three or four times daily-029931113000, if anyone else has had the same experience.

Got a call this morning from a woman claiming to be from BT’s accounts team, right on the May bank holiday. She had a strong Asian accent which made me a bit wary straight away. She was trying to offer a discount on our BT line but when she asked for my address info, I just said no and ended the call. She wasn’t rude or anything, but it definitely set off alarm bells. Could be risky if she’s trying to gather personal data like that.
