Got a call about loft insulation claiming it was from the British Lung Foundation. When I said no to their “survey” they just ended the call. Felt like a bit of a scam to me.

A caller said they were ringing about the government’s loft insulation program. I agreed to a survey and quote with a "private specialist contractor". They got a bit insistent when I said no at first, but still took my info. When they ring later to book the inspection, I’m just going to say no thanks and not have them come round.

Looks like a total scam to me. They claimed to be from the British Lung Association and said fiberglass can irritate your lungs, then asked for my address and other info to do some kind of survey. The moment I tried to ask them a question, they just cut the call. Suspicious behaviour if you ask me.

Got a call from a woman this morning (about 10am on 25 April 2022). She refused to tell me her name or the company she was representing. When I tried asking her questions, she wouldn't reply, just kept pushing some info about insulation. Once she saw I was the one asking questions and not just listening, she suddenly ended the call. She came across quite pushy and unpleasant. I'm signed up with the TPS, so they really shouldn’t have been contacting me in the first place.
