Reports on phone number 02922715982
4 yearsI got a call this morning around 9:13 from 029 22715982, with someone claiming to be from Vodafone offering a 30% reduction on my mobile bill. They asked me for my monthly plan cost so they could confirm my eligibility, which I gave them a made-up number for. They said it was correct and I qualified for the discount. Then they wanted my full name to move forward. I told them they’d given me no proof they were actually Vodafone or who they were, plus they confirmed my bill amount, even though I’d lied about it. After that, they just hung up. When I rang the number back, it said it belonged to a company called DCT, but a recorded message said their office was closed even though they’d just phoned me. Bit fishy, if you ask me.VodafoneDCT4 yearsThey use loads of different numbers, constantly ringing back to back with 4 or 5 calls in a row, total scammers. Their goal is to trick you into giving them access to your bank account, usually by getting you to authorise a payment. But remember, your bank won't let anything go through without your permission. So if you get a text from your bank with a code and anyone asks for it, just hang up and delete the message. Never share those codes with anyone - they're for your eyes only. These fraudsters often target vulnerable people, leaving them in serious financial trouble or debts they didn't have before. If you know someone elderly or less aware, keep an eye out for them and make sure they don’t fall for these scams.4 yearsThis number keeps ringing me up out of the blue, really annoying!4 yearsI didn't answer since the number looked unfamiliar, and they never bothered to leave a voicemail either.4 yearsThis number rang me earlier saying it was Currys PC World.
