What a swindle! This bloke was clearly trying to pull a fast one on me, masquerading as a representative from EE regarding my contract. The moment I mentioned that I don’t actually have any affiliation with EE, he promptly disconnected the call. Typical scammer behaviour!

My wife got a call from a bloke on 02922715247, speaking with a very heavy Indian accent. He claimed he was ringing from Currys or PC World, trying to sell her a new phone deal with unlimited everything for £37 a month. She told him she just bought a new phone recently and that her SIM is free through our internet provider, asking if he could match that offer. He was pretty polite and just said 'Alright,' before hanging up, probably figuring we weren't interested. Sounded fairly believable, but definitely a dodgy scam attempt.

Phone showed a Cardiff area code. I called back and got an answering machine saying it's dct communications, probably in Cardiff. The message said their office was closed, so kinda makes me think this could be a scam or something dodgy going on.
