My call blocker flagged this number as potentially fraudulent.

I have a strong suspicion that this might be a scam, especially since they didn’t bother leaving a message on my mobile.

Received a ring at precisely 11:33 this morning.

It seems this dodgy number has resurfaced. Thankfully, O2 has taken care of blocking it.

Received a call from this number earlier. As soon as I answered, they cut off the line. Did a bit of investigating and it looks like it could very well be a scam. I've gone ahead and blocked it.

Just got a hang-up from this number. I've added it to my blocked contacts. Honestly, it’s high time that tech evolves to automatically blacklist these numbers after the first report!

Came across an Asian chap trying to peddle mobile phones at a bargain, but honestly, I could barely decipher a word she was saying. Her accent was all over the place—more like the chugging of a dodgy old motorbike! It was just a constant BUTT BUTT BUTT that left me rather baffled!

Indeed, the number appeared as a foreign one starting with 44, so I decided to ignore the call.

Received a call from an unfamiliar number, and I’ve decided to block it based on what others have shared. Better safe than sorry!

I received a call from someone claiming to represent O2, but when I expressed my disinterest, they became rather foul-mouthed!

I received a call from someone purporting to be from Carphone Warehouse, basically pushing me to upgrade my phone since my contract was supposedly nearing its end. Once I mentioned that I don’t even have a contract phone and that I’m employed at Currys, which actually owns Carphone Warehouse, they abruptly terminated the call. It was rather alarming as they were still fishing for my personal info, including banking details. Quite dodgy behaviour, if you ask me!

I’m trying to offload my contract mobile… they requested my banking info, but once I ended the call, I promptly blocked their number.

I received a call purporting to be from O2, but here’s the peculiar bit: they didn’t even have my email address, which is rather strange considering I’m already a customer. They were raving about some massive discount on my monthly bill, but it all feels a bit dodgy to me.

I received a call claiming to be from O2 Telefonica, supposedly offering me a 30% reduction on my monthly bills. However, when I requested that they verify my email address—a necessary step for me to ensure they were actually looking at my account—they abruptly ended the call. Clearly, this was a dodgy operation.

So, I had this chap on the line claiming he was from Three Network, rattling on about an exclusive free upgrade I supposedly qualified for! I mean, come on – as if! I couldn’t help but chuckle at the absurdity. In the heat of the moment, I blurted out that he sounded like he was sitting in a call centre in India, what with that accent. Maybe, just maybe, had he spoken with a proper British tone, I might have given him a smidge more of my time. In any case, I told him to refrain from calling me again… but lo and behold, they rang back a mere ten minutes later! I've since blocked the number. What a laugh!

Watch out for this number; they seem more interested in pushing a phone on you or fishing for your private details.

Please take care not to fall prey to scams like this; there are far too many fraudulent operations lurking about. Always remember to protect your personal information from unsolicited callers!
