Got a call from a woman who had a really thick foreign accent, claiming to be from "my mobile network." She kept saying because I’m a loyal customer, she could slash my line rental cost by half. Definitely sounded like a phishing attempt to me. I just hung up quick as I could!

I received a call at about half three this afternoon. When I picked up, there was silence on the other end for what felt like an eternity-around nine or ten seconds, I reckon-before I decided to hang up. Just as I did, I could have sworn I heard a faint beep, but I can't say for certain. Quite odd, really!
