I’ve had two calls from these people. The first call they wanted to talk to Mr Smith, which was my last name before I changed it back in 2010. They phoned again, and I told them that cold calling is actually illegal under the new rules now. Then she just hung up on me.

I’m not really sure who they said they were, but a woman with a heavy accent kept slowly asking to speak to me using my maiden name, which she said wrong. Since I’ve been married for over five years, I know no normal person would still call me that, so I told her there’s no one here by that name and then ended the call.
