I’m quite perturbed by the fact that these con artists had my complete name and my precise address. It makes me uneasy, to say the least. I made it clear to the caller that should they attempt to reach me again, I would be reporting them to the authorities without hesitation.

I didn’t answer, but a bit of googling showed me some things: IP Voice Networks Ltd is actually legitimate, and they clearly say they don’t ring their clients. So if you get a call from their number, it’s probably a scam - looks like someone’s faking their number. On their official site, there’s even a page where you can report these dodgy calls. Use that if you want.

It's worrying how they have my full name, address and postcode. When I told the caller I was going to report them to the police, they just ended the call. I really think there should be stricter action taken against these calls, especially to protect those who are more vulnerable.

Got a call from a Welsh number, it came across as some sort of robot message, then it just dropped the line right after I picked up!
