Got a call from this number in May 2025. My phone alerted me it might be a scam, so I just ignored it. Seems like this number is ringing out again now.

The number showed it was from Cardiff, but the strong Asian accent made me think it was one of those foreign call centre scams. They said it was about Three, but I didn’t trust it so I just hung up.

Received a call from 02922640076, and there was this bloke speaking with an Indian accent, with the usual call centre buzz going on behind him. He was pretending to be from Three UK Promotions and seemed like he wanted to snag my card info or something. I just burst out laughing, which threw him off completely. He sounded all flustered and hung up right away. I've blocked that number now.

Got a call from some Asian bloke claiming he was ringing from Three claiming I’d won some prize. I asked him to identify me and, unsurprisingly, he didn’t know who I was at all. Told him to bugger off right away.

Purporting to be from the Three network, this lot are up to no good. I've already verified with Three, and they’ve confirmed no association whatsoever. They’re peddling enticing contracts at ridiculously low rates while requesting your card information without any proper security checks. Caution is advised! If you question them, they'll send over an email containing a contract that appears legitimate at first glance. If you’re uncertain about anything, it’s best to reach out directly to your actual provider for confirmation.
