They ring me every single day. When I block the number, they just use a different one to call. I asked nicely for them to stop calling. She told me if I gave my address and answered some questions, she'd take me off the list. I refused, and then she said she'd keep calling me every day.

These people keep ringing me each day without fail. It's as if they’ve got a personal vendetta! Every time I block one number, they simply switch to another. I tried being civil and requested that they cease contacting me, but her response was rather cheeky; she insisted that if I provided my address and answered some questions, she might consider taking me off the list. Lately I've been getting calls every day from numbers starting with 02922. They say it's from Cardiff but the voice has never had a Welsh accent, always this poorly spoken English. Got another call from "Beneficial" today. They rang me last week too, and the lady just stormed off the phone when I wouldn’t give in. They wanted my info to supposedly stop annoying calls (which is pretty funny really). I said no and told them to remove my number after how rude they were last time. This time, they just dropped the call again. Definitely a big scam.

After that, they kept ringing non stop for about 20 minutes until I had to block the number. Fingers crossed they're still stuck trying to get through to me instead of pestering someone else.

A lady with a strange accent rang me claiming to be from “Beneficial” and wanted to ask some questions to stop more calls. She asked me to confirm the postcode of a house I haven’t lived in for well over a decade. When I tried to find out how they got my number and why they needed that info, she just ignored me and kept pushing for the postcode. No way, not giving it to her!

Got a call from an Asian woman looking for someone else. I told her she’d got the wrong number, then she asked for my full name but I didn’t want to give it. After that, she tried pushing me to take part in a survey. I said no and she ended the call. With how things are nowadays, I usually ask callers to verify who they are by asking a few questions. If they’re legit, they tend to answer, if not they just hang up.

Someone was asking for my old girlfriend! I told them ages ago to take my number off their list since (a) it isn’t her phone (b) we broke up nearly a decade ago and (c) I don’t want whatever they’re selling. This time they actually hung up after I said I’m not the person they wanted! The call said it was from Cardiff but I seriously doubt that’s true.

A bloke with a foreign accent called, the number showed Cardiff, UK. When I asked who it was, he said it was from a company called ‘Beneficial Lifestyle’ and wanted me to answer a few questions. I asked under GDPR how they got my number, and he claimed I had signed up somewhere. I told him I was busy and asked if he owed me money or if I owed him. He said yes, then wanted me to answer questions again. I told him to remove my number from their list and that I was blocking him. Seems like they’re trying to collect info on people. I’ve blocked the number now.

Loads of annoying people who just don’t get the hint. Told them to take my number off their list and they just laughed before hanging up. If you call back the number they’re calling from, it lets you leave your details to get removed. Also, you can google Beneficial Opinions and unsubscribe directly on their website. Fingers crossed that sorts it, otherwise I’ll have to take it up with Ofcom next.

This 02922466377 number rang me at 8pm, and I told them to stop calling me so late in the evening. The bloke then handed the phone over to a lady with an accent I couldn’t place. I told her the same thing, but she just hung up on me. I’ve asked them ages ago to take my info off their list, but they clearly don’t care and just keep on calling whenever they feel like it.

Helpful in a way. The caller couldn’t even get my simple name right! I asked them for their phone number and company registration details a few times, but they just didn’t respond. They were trying to get info like my age etc., which I wasn’t happy to share - and yeah, she said I could decline 😂 but kept pushing! When I told her to take me off their list, she just hung up! Blocked straight away! Bet they’ll ring again from a different number though. Proper nuisance!

They have been ringing me loads over the past few weeks. I’ve told them over and over to take my info off their list, but it’s like talking to a wall. They just keep saying if I answer their stuff, they won’t bother me again. I’ve blocked the number now, but I’m sure they’ll try from somewhere else. Got a call from an Asian bloke saying he was with Beneficial. He said if I went through his questions he'd remove me from their list. Told him he was talking rubbish coz I’d already done that and asked him to remove my number, but he just refused and said he’d ring me at 6 in the morning. He was quite rude but I wasn’t exactly friendly either this time.

Got a call from what sounded like an Indonesian call centre. They wanted to confirm my address, dob and other private stuff. Seemed like they had info from a letting agency from nearly a decade back. Always jot down who you speak to, what info you give and when you spoke to them, just to be safe.

i never pick up calls from numbers i dont know. once i listened to a voicemail and it sounded like loads of people talking in the back, maybe a call centre? so i reckon the voicemail was sent by accident or something.
