By the time the day’s over, I just end up blocking it. The caller ID shows something like 02922250017, and it looks like it’s from Cardiff.

I just ignored the call and ended up blocking the number. I was actually looking to get a life insurance quote, hoping to deal directly with Aegon (used to be Scottish Equitable). These people rang me out of the blue. Not sure if it was fully unsolicited, but definitely not what I was anticipating.

I got a call from them about some insurance deal, and it seems they couldn’t care less if you’re on the TPS list or not. They just kept going on and wouldn’t take no for an answer.

The call came from someone claiming to be with Smart Money. Right away, they started pushing life insurance. I quickly cut them off and said, "No thanks, I’m not interested. Goodbye." They kept going for a bit but I ended the call. Haven’t heard from them since.
