Got a call from someone called Sophie, she was really smooth and polite at first. But as soon as I said no to handing over my bank info, she started threatening me with a CCJ because apparently my number was listed on loads of sites, mostly in India - like 117 of them or something. When I started chuckling, she totally changed and got quite rude. I can’t even type what I said back to her! Eventually she just hung up. Definitely felt like a massive scam.

I received a call earlier today from someone who was adamant I should fork out £49.99 to end those pesky nuisance calls. What a cheeky scam! They even had the audacity to say I'd be handed over to their “non-payment department” if I didn’t comply. I told them I'd report them to Trading Standards and promptly ended the call. They can try their luck, but this is exactly why it's vital to keep your personal information to yourself online!

I contacted my bank to cancel my debit card, but they said they couldn’t stop a single payment that’s already gone through. Just a heads up, this scam is really well put together.

Then, on 08/08/16, a woman rang me saying they'd looked into these nuisance calls and noticed I was signed up with loads of firms. She insisted the charge was necessary since the work was already done, mentioned they'd pass my info to their admin team, and then hung up.
